The Weber Q 6506 Griddle is made to fits the Weber Q320 gas grill. To use it you need to lift out the left side grate and replace it with the griddle.  This effectively converts half of the grill into a large flat surface perfect for cooking breakfast, such as pancakes, bacon and eggs or grilling fresh vegetables.  You can only use the griddle on the left side of the Q320. The Griddle will not fit on the right side of the cook area, so you can’t configure the grill for all griddle cooking.  What you get is half grill and half griddle.

This griddle is great for when you want to cook on a solid surface; it is a good quality heavy cast iron.  It’s works nicely for grilling vegetables, with lots of room left on the grate side for doing your meat, chicken, shrimp, etc.  It is relatively non-stick if you keep it hot and oiled.  You will get even and consistent heat across the whole griddle surface.
